Augmentation Kit MK-1 is a Premium-quality Augmentation Kit. It can be created by player characters trained in the Armormech, Armstech, or SynthweavingCrew Skills.
This video shows you how to add augment slots to your gear and the augment modification. You can pretty much augment any piece of gear you have or better stats. It doesn’t matter which grade of kit you’re adding, MK-1 up to MK-10, there’s a fee you have to pay to add the augment slot, in addition to having the slot kit itself. For MK-1, it’s like 1k. Higher grades cost more. And as you’ve seen, for the MK-10 it’s a lot more. So yep, hit that button and pay the 40k to add the augment slot to your item. Augments are items that can be installed in machines and dynamos to improve (‘augment’) them in certain ways or to change how they work. Augments can be installed in the Augmentation tab in the GUI of a machine or dynamo. The amount of augments that can be installed depends on the block’s tier. A basic machine or dynamo cannot be.
